21- 23 Week Update

I said I wasn't going to post pictures of my belly, but after a few requests I decided to go ahead. Can't promise I will do it again (especially as stretch marks form), but here is a look at my 23 week bump.
I wonder what it would be like to have an "easy" pregnancy! I am so jealous of all you girls that have felt wonderful throughout your pregnancies. I wish I could say the same. The past two weeks have been interesting for me. I have had alot of great moments, and some really strange ones. Last Monday I had to go see Dr. Woodford because my left ribs were hurting really bad. It hurt to breath in, laugh, cough, and anytime I pushed, pulled, or lifted something. He said that I probably pulled an inner muscle in my rib cage, or could have possibly cracked a rib from puking so hard. He gave me some medicine and told me to rest. There is really nothing I can do to fix the pain. While I was there Dr. Woodford went ahead and measured my tummy. I measured 23 inches. He said that he thinks our son is going to be a big baby! This was reassuring because I have been a little worried about his size since I have not gained much weight. Being so sick makes me scared that he is not getting enough nutrients to grow. After talking to the doctor, I feel much better about the placenta being low. Dr. Woodford said he is pretty sure that as the baby and my uterus grow, the placenta will move up. I left this visit feeling much better about everything.
I experienced another new "first" this week. I woke up Saturday morning with a nose bleed. I have never had a nose bleed in my life. I broke my nose in Jr. High and it didn't even bleed then. I have read that this can be common during pregnancy. I understand that these things happen, but can I please just go one week with no issues!! On a better note, I went 3 days without getting sick this week. One of those days I didn't even take my Zofran. My energy level has been great, and I have finally started feeling like my old self again.
I can't wait until the end of this week. I hope I hear great news from two of my very good friends. They both think they are pregnant, and they are due on the same day! I am so excited for both girls, and can't wait for their first ultrasound results this week.
